Sala Macchine is a sound art performance that uses the DIY
plate reverb as a sound design tool by exploiting it's peculiar
characteristics such as resonances and mechanical failures.
The Plate is driven into industrial/noise territories by the means of the modular synth.
The sound texture recalls water turbines, industrial rumble and noises. The ambient is designed to resemble the soundscape of a hydroelectric power plant.
Sala Macchine was performed live at RUMUR Isola festival and Peri-phéro art exhibition.
