DIY Plate reverb

Abstract

This is an experimental plate reverb done with a metal sheet suspended with springs linked to a metal frame. The exciter is a vibration transducer driven by a 20W power amplifier. As a capture element, I've used two custom made phantom powered contact contact mics.

Here you can find the Stereo, 96 kHz, 32 bit impulse response (IR) of this plate, so you can use it with any convolution reverb plugin/software.
